The Corbett String Program at 51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØ School of the Arts is home to so many incredible opportunities for our students! Here are just a few to get you acquainted:
The Corbett String Fellows program is open for application to incoming freshman string students who audition for a music major, have high GPAs, and exhibit excellent skills on their instrument. Corbett String Fellowships include up to full tuition!
You must, however, apply to 51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØ by Feb. 15 to even be considered! Here are the applications you must complete to be considered:
51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØ Application for Admission
(These are IN ADDITION to academic scholarships you may receive.)
51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØ SOTA Music Scholarship Audition Application (Your audition video is not required by Feb. 15, BUT it would be in your best interest to begin the application so that we know you are interested.
What if I am not interested in majoring in music? We are pleased to offer generous music scholarships for string players outside of the music major. Non-major string students who would like to be considered for scholarship must also sign-up and take a music scholarship audition, as well as be applied to the University in time for scholarship consideration. This year, auditions are all online and submitted through Acceptd. Students should sign-up online at their earliest convenience in order to have the most time availability options.
