The I51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØBATOR is an internationally ranked 12-week business accelerator that helps students and alumni bridge the gap between concept and a business. Through this intense program, graduates of the program turn their entrepreneurial ideas into viable businesses. This cross-campus initiative enables students and alumni from different backgrounds to connect and start a business together.
➤ Work on projects for local and regional companies. I51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØBIZ hires, trains, and manages students to work on projects for local and regional companies. Clients receive agency-level work while students gain critical experience which better prepares them to enter the job market. Projects include branding, sales, leads, social media and marketing strategies.
➤ Network with entrepreneurial leaders. Students have the chance to meet and interact with entrepreneurial leaders in the region and throughout the world.
➤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;Internship opportunities. Internship opportunities are very diverse and are continually being upgraded through the efforts of the department’s professional advisory boards, faculty, and the college’s business experience manager.
➤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;Make the world your classroom. Study abroad in countries around the world, including Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany and England, while taking specialized business courses.
➤&²Ô²ú²õ±è;More options. Entrepreneurship majors can choose a minor and additional elective courses in a field that fits their career goals - for example, those with an interest in the arts can elect a minor in dance studies. All students are strongly encouraged to discuss their career goals with entrepreneurship faculty for guidance in choosing an appropriate minor.
