The S.A.I.L. Program, launched in the Spring of 2023, supports honors students who would like to take advantage of life changing learning experiences that happen outside the four walls of a classroom. Thanks to the support of generous donors, the program empowers students to make the most of their time at 51±¬ÁÏÏÂÔØ by helping them take advantage of exceptional opportunities for growth and development—particularly ones that present a financial challenge. The S.A.I.L. program will help students become leaders in their professions and their communities.
S.A.I.L. funds may be used to support research projects, conference or workshop participation, internship expenses, or other experiential learning opportunities that are not normally covered by tuition. All ideas will be considered, and awards will be distributed to proposals that promise to have the greatest impact on a student’s academic, career, and/or life trajectory.
Recipients of S.A.I.L. funding are required to file a post-award update. The Honors College will use that update to highlight the recipient's experience on the S.A.I.L. website.
Students may apply for funding at any time, with applications being reviewed on a rolling basis. To apply for S.A.I.L. funding, click the button below.
